After you decide on an apartment and we confirm availability, we will
provide you with a rental agreement written in English. Please note
that in most cases, the apartment can be reserved up to 1 month in
advance.
Initial payment-
- First month's rent
- Security deposit typically equivalent to one month's rent
- Casualty insurance premium (2-year coverage 15,000 yen)
Apartment Features-
All
Tokyo Rent apartments feature heating and air conditioning, comfortable
lighting, either hardwood floors or carpeting, private bathrooms,
kitchens, space for a washing machine, and internet connection
capability.
Furnishings-
Optional
furnishings include a refrigerator, television, washing machine, futon
set, curtains, microwave oven/toaster, dining table and chairs
for a small additional monthly charge. The actual charge will vary
based on what furnishings you require, but typically runs around 10,000 yen/month.
Utilities-
Many of our apartments are available with
the
utility costs included in the monthly rent. Please check the individual
apartment listing on this website. For those apartments that don't
include utilities, the costs are the responsibility of the tenant. Of
course, we assist tenants in making the arrangements with the utility
providers (gas, water, electricity, internet access).
Dual occupancy-
In
most of our apartments, dual occupancy is welcome. However, in smaller
apartments, 5,000 yen is added to the monthly rent in that case.
Pets-
In several cases, pets are also accepted. Then,
the security deposit is higher and 5,000 yen may be added to
the monthly rent.
